Ian can provide a range of courses/training suited to a variety of audiences who come into contact with dogs as part of their day-to-day work. For example, those who have to handle dogs as part of their work, e.g. dog wardens, and also those who work with people who may own dogs, e.g. social workers, housing officers, etc. Some of the more popular courses cover the following areas:

|Dealing With Dogs New Powers Antisocial Behaviour Crime And Policing Act 2014 Next course on 5th December 2014 at the Police Federation HQ, Leatherhead. Due to demand an additional date of 16th January 2015 has now been added.||
We will take you through the new legislative changes and assess their effectiveness for dealing with different situations, focussing on the practicalities of the new laws and how they relate to other legislation. So whether it is a barking dog, a straying dog, or a dog that has attacked another animal we will look at the measures and how they may be used.
The seminar will be delivered by retired police DLOs ensuring it gives a practical overview as well as theoretical and cover a range of issues including:
The various ASB measures (e.g. CPNs, Injunctions, CBOs, PSPOs)
Animal welfare issues to consider
The conditions you can and should be requiring owners of dogs to comply with
What support and information is out there
This is an ideal learning opportunity for dog wardens, anti-social behaviour officers, police officers and those that work for housing associations and CPD certificates will be awarded.
The cost is £95 per delegate (inclusive of lunch, tea and coffee). There is a discounted price of £85 for two or more delegates.
